"Stronger Together" DVO Mini Grants Program

DVO is excited to introduce a new Mini Grants program designed to strengthen parish-based domestic violence ministries and expand their reach within local communities. These small but impactful grants will support awareness efforts, educational programming, and initiatives that create safer, more supportive environments for those affected by domestic violence.

Mini Grants may be used for a variety of efforts, including:

• Hosting awareness events
• Inviting guest speakers 
• Developing resource materials
• Launching new ministry initiatives 
• Collaboration between parishes

Requirements:

• Be a ministry or community group initiated with the help of DVO
• Be actively meeting as a group or have organized a domestic-violence related event within the past calendar year
• Submit an application prior to the deadline
• Submit a proposed budget detailing how funds will be allocated
• If awarded, be willing to share photos and a summary of how the grant money was used for DVO marketing and promotional materials
• Complete a brief evaluation on the Mini Grant Application process and program
• Mini Grant funds need to support at least one of DVO's three pillars: Awareness • Services • Prevention

The first round of applications open on May 16, 2026, and will close on June 30, 2026. Mini Grant recipients will be notified in late July 2026.
